Allergy Accessibility: 'Point of Care' Research
User Empathy + UX + Survey Design
About the Project:
Develop a 'Point of Care' device to assist users with severe food allergies. The goal is to fully understand the Anaphylaxis condition and help create a product that insurers accessibility and communicates the event with necessary health care outlets.
My Role:
As a UX researcher, I was tasked with understanding the allergy condition itself, exploring the competitive landscape and helping to define and understand our target user. I created user surveys and hosted interviews with doctors, patients and caregivers to help immerse myself into the empathy of the user.
