Throughout my career I have worked on a wide umbrella of projects from UX (strategic research & wireframing prototypes) to Graphic Design (logos and layouts) to Professional Projects (consumer electronics, healthcare and cyber security)

UX

User Experience or UX, is a large umbrella that encompasses the ideas and emotions of the end user through a product, system or service. Usability research is often conducted with all users involved in a product, helping to discover pain points, improvement areas, and new opportunities. In the end, UX is how the end user interacts and uses a product.

UX to me, includes User Research, User Interface (UI), Information Architecture (IA), User Journeys, and a bit of Graphic Design.

Graphics

Graphic Design is a visual representation of communication. Imagery, typography and composition layout all have an impact on how messages are perceived. 

Graphic Design to me, is something I enjoy using my visual and artistic background

Professional

During my professional career, I have had collaborated with cross-functional teams  Marketing, Engineering, Information Services, Product Owners, and have had a variety of roles and have been a collaborator of a variety of large and small design projects.

From consumer electronics trends and storyboarding, to 'point of care' healthcare focus groups, to juvenile competitive analysis, to exhibit design, to UX research for a new cyber security product.
