Gansett Homes: Rental Website

About this Project:

This was a freelance website project for a rental company with two properties. Homeowners currently rent homes through a variety of rental sites (AirBNB, HomeAway, VRBO, etc. ) The goal of this project was to create a central site, owners can easily direct visitors to learn more about renting and visiting the property.

My Role:

I was tasked with collecting the sites content, customizing the site layout (Squarespace.com layout), designing property graphics for each of the two homes, and I still continue to update and maintain the current site.

Content Layout

When starting with the layout of the site, I needed to gather all the content (text, images, etc). Using Squarespace.com, I found the best template for displaying two rental properties side by side. With both properties in the same area, visitors of the homes frequently asked homeowners for 'things to do' near by. The 'things to do' tab was added based on user and homeowner feedback.

Property Logos

5th Avenue Property

One of the historical focal points of Narragansett is The Towers (seen below left). Since this real-estate property is walking distance to the beach, I thought a logo for the house with the towers would be fitting. This concept was made using Adobe Illustrator.

Highland Property

Crossing oars are the focal point of the open kitchen / living room area for this property (seen below left). Adobe Illustrator was used to create this logo.
